SUNDAY TRAP
Sunday trap shooting starts in April, weather permitting. Shooting starts at 2:00pm and runs until dark. A round of trap (25 birds) will cost $7.00 for non-members and $5.00 for club members. Juniors are $3.50. At the end of the season there is a club appreciation shoot with a supper following.
Summer Leagues start in May and consist of 100 targets per month thru August. To shoot league, cost is $25.00 and this also includes a team score. A team consists of 3 to 5 shooters.
Trap shooting at our range requires shot no larger than 7 ½. An improved or full choke works best.
Sunday Trap is very informal and is a perfect place to learn the basics.
Sunday Trap is open to the public, so grab a friend and come out.

200 Yard Varmint Benchrest Rifle Matches
Starting every 2nd Saturday of the month from May – September
Registration & Sight In 8-9 AM, Match 9AM – 1PM
FACTORY, MODIFIED FACTORY and OPEN classes – up to .30 caliber
Semi-auto must have brass catcher.
All classes must have a 10 round shot block.
Two targets in each class – 30 recorded shots for score

Rules
- Match Director (MD) is responsible for conducting a safe environment. The MD can disqualify and remove any person from the range at any time, that is not behaving in a safe/responsible manner.
- MD will identify all Range Safety Officers (RSO).
- MD will conduct a Safety Brief before the first relay.
- All rifle range rules apply.
Regulations
- All Varmint 4 Score matches will be separated by rifle class. MD can combine or exclude classes based on participation.
- 22LR (100 yards)
- Factory (200 yards)
- Modified Factory (200 yards)
- Open (200 yards)
- Gas Gun (200 yards)
- Rifles will be fired from bench or prone.
- Rifles are to be fired from a mechanical front rest or rifle mounted Bi-Pod and a rear bag.
- Wind flags or aids are not allowed.
- Shooters are to shoot own target only. Cross-firing can result in disqualification, relay termination, or score adjustment at MD discretion. Shooters are to identify crossfires immediately to RSO or MD.
- Youth and beginners must have spotter for all shots taken. Spotters are recommended for Bi-pod shooters. Any shooter can request a spotter before the match/relay begins and the MD will assign one.
- 22LR Match will use the Factory Class target. 22LR Rimfire only.
- .17 – .30 caliber allowed for centerfire classes.
- Any optic can be used in any rifle class
Scoring
- Each target has ten scoring varmint animal silhouettes. Each animal has two scoring areas and X dot.
- An impact that touches the orange silhouette of the animal will score the lower value amount indicated below that animal.
- An impact that touches the white circle located inside the animal will score the higher value amount indicated below that animal.
- An impact that touches the dot in the center of the white circle inside the animal will receive an X and the scoring amount of a white impact. X’s are used for tiebreakers only.
- Any impact in the white of the target not touching any part of an animal silhouette will receive a zero.
- All impacts on any part of the scoring target count towards the relay course of fire.
Class Scoring & Course of Fire
Rimfire Class (Factory Class target at 100 yards)
- (2) Two scoring rounds per varmint. (20) Twenty total scoring rounds total. 800-20x is perfect score.
- 15-minute relay. Includes unlimited sighters at provided sighter target.
- Any varmint target animal with more than (2) Two impacts will Zero that animal score.
- Any scoring target with more than (20) Twenty scoring rounds on target will disqualify the target.
- Observed Cross-Firing must be reported to Range Officer immediately.
CF Factory Class (Factory target at 200 yards)
- (2) Two scoring rounds per varmint. (20) Twenty total scoring rounds total. 800-20x is perfect score.
- 5-minute unlimited sighter period. Clear Bench.
- 15-minute, (20) Twenty round relay. Only (20) Twenty rounds on bench. No loaded magazines.
- Any varmint target animal with more than (2) Two impacts will score the lowest (2) Two scores on animal.
- Observed Cross-Firing must be reported to Range Officer immediately.
CF Modified Class (Modified target at 200 yards)
- (2) Two scoring rounds per varmint. (20) Twenty total scoring rounds total. 920-20x is perfect score.
- 5-minute unlimited sighter period. Clear Bench.
- 15-minute, (20) Twenty round relay. Only (20) Twenty rounds on bench. No loaded magazines.
- Any varmint target animal with more than (2) Two impacts will score the lowest single score on animal.
- Observed Cross-Firing must be reported to Range Officer immediately.
CF Open Class (Open target at 200 yards)
- (2) Two scoring rounds per varmint. (20) Twenty total scoring rounds total. 1100-20x is perfect score.
- 15-minute relay. Match Director will declare number of sighters at provided sighter target.
- Any varmint target animal with more than (2) Two impacts will Zero that animal score.
- Any scoring target with more than (20) Twenty scoring rounds on target will disqualify the target.
- Observed Cross-Firing must be reported to Range Officer immediately.
Rifle Classes
- Rimfire 22LR – Any rimfire rifle chambered in 22LR. Any optic is allowed. 22LR Classes can be used by Match Directors discretion.
- Factory – Any mass produced and not modified semi-auto, bolt action or single shot rifle chambered in 22LR. Rifle cost must not exceed $1000. Any optic.
- CZ – All CZ 455/457 rifles. After market modifications of any type to the CZ 455/457 are allowed. Any optic.
- Open – Any rifle chambered in 22LR.
- Centerfire Factory
- .17 – .30 Caliber
- Standard production rifle made by a manufacturer that produces 15K rifles/year. No custom factory rifles are allowed.
- MSRP or current value of Factory Class rifle must be less than $2000.
- Must be chambered in a standard production cartridge. No PPC, BR, AI or Wildcats.
- Must be an unaltered factory action, trigger, barrel and stock.
- Only factory varmint, sporter or chassis style stock. No flat bottom or benchrest stocks. No bag riders or ARCA rails. ARCA rail can only be used if a Bi-Pod is used.
- Factory Muzzle break is allowed. No tuners or suppressors.
- Centerfire Modified Factory
- .17 – .30 Caliber
- Must have a factory stamped action. No custom actions.
- Must be chambered in a standard commercially available cartridge. No PPC, BR, AI, or Wildcats.
- Varmint, sporter or chassis style stock. No flat bottom or benchrest stocks.
- Muzzle breaks, tuners and suppressors are allowed.
- Complete rifle must weigh less than 16lbs.
- Barrel must not exceed 26” in length and have Varmint contour or smaller.
- Centerfire Open
- .17 – .30 Caliber in any chambering
- No rail guns
- Must weigh less than 25lbs
- Flat bottom, benchrest stocks and bag riders are allowed.
Wednesday Night High Power
Wednesday Night High Power shoots practice starts at 3:00PM and runs until dusk, weather dependent. Season starts first Wednesday in April until September, dependent on weather.
Course of fire is Sliver Mountain target system will be used from the 300-yard line.
Prone rapid fire – 2 sighting shots with 10 record shots in 70 seconds.
Prone slow fire – 2 sighting shots with 20 record shots in 22 minutes.
What to bring: Rifle, .223 -.308 caliber, 44-88 rounds of ammo, shooting mat.
